The English Riviera Bake Off

The English Riviera Bake Off

Are you a fantastic home baker? Could you amaze our judges with your baking talents? Then The English Riviera Bake Off is for you!

Entry Cost: £84.00 (the programme runs for 7 weeks). This includes: entry fee, apron and basic recipe ingredients for the technical challenges.  *Extras i.e. presentation equipment/dishes, specific/extra ingredients to enhance presentation of dishes must be provided by the attendee.

Each week will have a theme with demonstrations.

  • Your first week will start with the opportunity for you to create your own 'Signature Bake' to be judged.
  • Subsequent weeks you will have the opportunity to re-create the dish from the 'Technical' demonstration from the previous week.
  • You will learn a total of 5 technical skills, culminating in the all-important 'Showstopper' bake at the end of the course.
  • Each week a 'Star Baker' will be awarded.

To apply:

  • Applicants must be 14 years of age and over on 1 February 2016.
  • As an amateur baker your main source of income cannot come from commercial baking and you cannot have ever worked full-time as a baker, cook or chef.
  • You cannot have acquired any professional catering qualifications unless acquired over 10 years ago.
